On 11th September 2001, physician Sneha Anne Philip was among those reported missing following the attacks on New York's Twin Towers. She would eventually be recognised as a victim, but there was one troubling detail: Sneha had disappeared the previous evening. Did she die in the attacks, or was her disappearance an entirely separate mystery?

In November 1987, Korrina Malinoski disappeared from an isolated South Carolina plantation. Almost eleven months later, her 11-year-old daughter, Annette Sagers, vanished while waiting for her school bus near the same spot. More than three decades later, neither has ever been found.
