I’m Marieanne Elle, a true crime enthusiast fascinated with the darker side of human nature. While many people are drawn to the macabre side of true crime, I believe it is essential to delve beneath the surface, exploring the psychological and societal factors that contribute to these tragic events. By examining these cases, we can better understand the human mind and, hopefully, work towards preventing future tragedies. Ultimately, it is about remembering there are real people behind these cases and honouring the lives of those taken too soon. 

Beyond the world of true crime, I am also captivated by the mysterious and paranormal, and will occasionally delve into strange and unexplained cases in search of the hidden truths behind some of life’s most peculiar mysteries.

When I’m not immersed in researching a case or strange tale, I enjoy being in the countryside, walking my dog, or hugging the odd tree or two! As someone living with a diagnosed personality disorder, I’ve learned the importance of grounding myself, and nature provides me with the perfect escape and a much-needed sense of peace.

It can be a cruel world out there, so stay safe, stay vigilant, and stay curious. But most of all, be kind. We never know what others are going through, and a little compassion can go a long way.
